Ma'dinu Ssaquafathil Islamiyya was founded on June 1997.Since then Jamia Ma'adin has become a source of smart learning, teaching and research. It has above 25 institutions working under it. Among them the latest was the Ma'din polytechnic college which was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Kerala Shri Umman Chandy. Ma’adin Academy is situated at Swalath nagar, Melmuri of Malappuram district. Khaleelul Bukhari Thangal is the chairman of Jamia Ma'adin.
Other than various educational institutions, Ma'adin provides schlolarship to poor students of the society. Other services include Haj and Umra tours along with Haj camps and orientation programmes.
