Manjeri Medical college hospital will start functioning by 2013 at the place of Manjeri General hospital as declared by V.S. Shivakumar, Health minister of Kerala. The medical college will be allotted twelve operation theatres and five hundred beds. The facilities will be comparative to a super specialty hospital with Gynecology department having the best facility.
