Samastha 85th Anniversary Conference (February 23, 24, 25 and 26 2012) at Varakkal Mullakoya Thangal Nagar, Kooriyad, Malappuram

Kooriyad gets ready for the historical Samastha Anniversary. With the theme ‘Sathya Sakshikalavuka’ which means “Be a Testifier of Truth”, the conference will be held under various sections from 23rd to 26th February .Besides there will be exbitions from 20th to 26th which will be based on history, health and ancient objects.  The conference will be inaugurated  by the Honourable  Chief Minister  of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy at 10:00 AM on 20th of February.

The conference is expecting  the participation of about 15lakh people mainly from Kerala and from other parts of India. The anniversary will be held at the 37 acre wide open  fields of Kooriyad. The publicity journey for the anniversary had been completed successfully.  The  previous annual conferences  were conducted in  cities like Kasargod, Calicut and Kollam.

Kooriyad is located in Vengara Panchayath of Malappuram district, Kerala.  Kooriyad can be reached by NH 17 (Thrissur – Calicut ) or by State Highway (Malappuram- Parappangadi ). It’s the next bus stop after Kakkad junction. The nearest cities are Kottakkal,  Chemmad, Vengara and  Kakkad.
