Farook Kottakkal-The Farook Educational Society was established in the year 1982 . Having expanded in terms of institutions, infrastructure, staff and student’s strength, the Farook school has emerged as one of the leading educational body in the district providing access to more than three thousand students. The Farook Group of Institutions include; farook pre-primary school, Farook LP & UP school, Farook high school and higher secondary school, Farook teacher training institute, Farook arts & science college and Farook B.Ed college. With the aim of providing top quality education, Farook has maintained high academic standards and has successfully provided leverage and inspiration to many organizations.
The institutions admit both boys & girls and offer education through English medium. The schools are full fledged up to 12 standard and is recognized by the Govt.of Kerala, TTC is recognized by the NCTE and the Govt.of Kerala. Arts and science College is affiliated as a self financing college under the University of Calicut. The Farook B.Ed College is affiliated to the University of Calicut and is recognized by the NCTE.A good number of educational institution bus services are provided by the society.
The students in the school are given facility to take part in other extra curricular activities inside and outside the campus under the guidance and supervision of trained teachers.
